Hey Smokebender, This sounds like a far offer. Well, what do you say?
About the video... This world will get better. That change means... People will do the right thing. People will make a difference. It will happen.

A change will come Sass, but it won't come easy or pretty. I'm not trying to be pessimistic, just realistic. It will take an event of enormous catastrophic proportion to awaken the mind and heart of man. "A war to end all wars". The global recession we experience now is only the beginning. It is generating fear as the collective consciousness across the globe. When people live in fear, they will kill as a method of survival. Think about that in terms of big business and government authority. (Those who fund and hold the weapons of mass destruction). The twentieth century has been a 100 year contest between superpowers over who can create the bigger and most destructive weapons. Soon they will have an assumed motive to use them.
I would agree with some of your assessment, but with a twist. We are told in the Baha'i Faith that the world will be "cleft asunder" while the New World Order emerges. It is where we are. We have already had the 'War to end all wars', that was WWI. and don't forget WWII, or the cold war, or the war on terrorism, etc. The change is happening and if you are a student of the history of mankind, we study periods with fuzzy beginnings and endings. It is usually the middle of the periods that we elaborate on. For example, we all know that the Spanish Armada was destroyed by a storm on the northern coast of Great Britain in 1588, but most of us don't know what the name of the war was. It is because the destruction of the Armada was an event and the war was insignificant, so we studied the even and not the period.
Mankind has experienced incredible change in the past 150 years. We are now experiencing change at such a rapid rate, what our children will learn today, will be obsolete in just a few years and useless in ten, in many instances. Ever since the new Ethereal was released in 1844, mankind has been accelerating at such a rate, that historians are finding it difficult to keep up. The good that has happened is unbelievable. We are dealing with human rights, world wide, something that wouldn't have been mentioned 50 years ago. We are dealing with women's rights, world wide, something that wouldn't have been mentioned in some places 10 years ago. Wealth is being spread over more people than ever before. I don't mean wealthy, but we are bringing more and more people out of poverty. Education is becoming a standard for a nation, not for just a few. Oh, yeah, change there has been and change there will be. If your are anxious, you may think it is happening too slow, but we must remember, that our own life time, in the realm of God's creation, is smaller than a dot on the eye of a gnat.
