Title: Ban on Chocolate Milk in Schools
Post by: Sassafras on May 11, 2011, 09:03:25 PM
This article states schools, or at least some, are going to ban chocolate milk.  I think this is a very good idea.  Not just because of obesity is an issue, like it says in this article, but because chocolate is a source of exicitotoxins like maltodextrin, carrageenan, and sodium caseinate.  These ingredients, though not limited to only these ingredients, are the cause of obesity. This point is NOT stated in this article.  Hopefully someday, someone will make the connection and the world will listen.

I think that this is a great idea. In school, I hated chocolate milk, and drank skim or 1% milk.  If schools introduced more fat-free milk, that would be even better.
