No way. It's just a game we play, all in fun. That was my vote under "I didn't know he wanted one".  Cuz I'm  ~D~

I posted a new recipe today. Did you see it? Not for everyone, but Smokebenders like it.    ;)

Interesting recipe. I never tried turtle, but I think I'll stick with lobster, crab, shrimp and clams as my favorite seafoods. Maybe someday...

I like all those too. Seafood is the best. I like to saltwater fish. It's been to long. I need to go again.

"Interesting" is a very kind way of putting it. I might eat that after a week without food. My recipe I mean.

142 posts in "Just chat" and it's all been just the two of us. Odd that no others have jumped in.

I believe Mick tried to back on page six, but he was either ignored or overlooked. I'll let you decide which one, either/or.

Here's a truth for ya.

The past few days I Have been feeling "off", just not myself. I have an on and off fever, like hot then cold, I feel slightly nauseated, but not to the point of vomiting. I also have the shakes on and off. Flu like symptoms but not a full fledged flu. It's not often that I get sick. Last time I had a full flu was eight- ten years ago. I'll stick it out for the rest of the week and if it doesn't clear up by itself I'll see a doctor.

Try some chicken soup. Really, no joke. It makes me feel better even when I'm not feeling bad. Try it.

I love chicken soup! But vitamin C seems to work better for me. I drink a glass of 100% orange juice four times a day. It keeps the virus from getting worse.

Do you take vitamins?  If not I'm sure some would help. Chicken soup and vitamins per Dr. Smokebender.

I hope you feel better soon.

I've been planning an expedition with the guys in my group. Winter is a good time to plan. This is a first trip for us as a group so we have lots to talk over. Planning is half the fun sometimes. This time that remains to be seen. It's a good bunch.

Hope you plan your expedition wisely. "Be prepared".

Regarding your question about vitamins, no I don't take vitamins except what is in the fruits, veggies and other foods I eat. I don't believe in taking pills when there are other alternatives. I don't even take tylenol or other pain medicine for headaches. Nothing a good rest can't handle. I have never had a flu shot. My doctor asks me every year. I tell him that if I was meant to receive a shot of the flu virus, (which is exactly what a flu shot is), that I am sure it will find me all by itself!

I believe our natural immune system was given for a purpose. It cannot serve us properly if we continue to break it down with synthetic toxins. There is a reason children get the mumps, measles and chicken pox, or at least they did when I was growing up. Once you get them, you cannot get them again. Your body is now "immune" to it. This strengthens the immune system and prepares it for adulthood. No continued treatments of vaccines or innoculations.
I also believe that the common cold and flu viruses are God's gift to mankind. When your immune system is allowed to fight these viruses without the aid of synthetics, it strengthens the immune system. In the long run you become totally immune to those viruses. What I have now is not a full fledge flu. It is what I call a "touch up".
