I have been reading The Stand since Mick and I left for Arizona. I'm not finished yet but more than halfway through. It is interesting enough that I would read more of Steven King. I had a friend in High School who had every book King wrote and could tell you what edition it was too. At the time, I thought is crazy to be so wrapped up in one author if a person was such an avid reader. Since then, I can see it is possible and at such a young age (back then, so long ago), more likely.
At this time in my life, I find myself wanting to read faster so I can read more books and different authors, and I can see there just isn't enough time. I enjoy it when Mick tells me about the books he is reading. It is a way for me to get information about other authors. That's how I found Lee Child's.
Books are NOT for the birds...
