Title: Baha'i Quotes

I found this quote a while back, forgot I had used it for a signature at another forum, and then found it again when I had posted.  It is a wonderful quote by 'Abdu'l-Baha, the son of Baha'u'llah who is the Prophet founder of the Baha'i Faith.  'Abdu'l-Baha is the Exemplar.  If the "people of the future" were like 'Abdu'l-Baha, then the world would become unified.

Quote
The people of the future will not say, "I belong to the nation of England, France or Persia"; for all of them will be citizens of a universal nationality -- the one family, the one country, the one world of humanity -- and then these wars, hatreds and strifes will pass away.

(Abdu'l-Baha, The Promulgation of Universal Peace)

I found a quote on a www.us.bahai.org on Being a Baha'i:

Quote
"To be a Baha'i simply means to love all the world; to love humanity and try to serve it; to work for universal peace and universal brotherhood." ? 'Abdu'l-Baha

This quote comes out of Nabil's Narrative, The Dawn Breakers.  I found it one time while casually reading and it knocked my socks off.

"Be thankful to God for having enabled you to recognize His Cause.   Whoever has received this blessing must, prior to his acceptance, have performed some deed which, though he, himself, was unaware of its character, was ordained by God as a means whereby he has been guided to find and embrace the Truth."

“Blessed and happy is he that ariseth to promote the best interests of the peoples and kindreds of the earth.”
