Since November 2010, progress is coming along on the House of Worship in Santiago, Chile. It is the final House of Worship to be built to serve an entire continent. Other continental Houses of Worship include:
Wilmette, Illinois, U.S.
Kampala, Uganda
Sydney (Ingleside), Australia
Frankfurt (Langenhain-Hofheim), Germany
Panama City, Panama
Tiapapata, Samoa
Delhi, India
As of 2004, 123 future Houses of Worship have been mentioned by the Universal House Justice.
In 2012 the Universal House of Justice announced plans to build two national Houses of Worship aside from the continental ones above. These were for the Democratic Republic of Congo (see Bahá'í Faith in the Democratic Republic of the Congo) and Papua New Guinea. In addition plans for the first local Houses of Worship were also announced - for Battambang, Cambodia; Bihar Sharif, India (see Bahá'í Faith in India); Matunda Soy, Kenya (See Bahá'í Faith in Kenya); Norte del Cauca, Colombia (see Bahá'í Faith in Colombia); and Tanna, Vanuatu.
