Title: Family planning
Post by: Truthsayer on January 12, 2009, 06:10:22 PM
The most remarkable case of family planning I have ever seen revolves around my own birth. True story. I was born in June of 1964, but the registration date on my original birth certificate said "June, 1963"!
My birth certificate was registered a year before I was born! Three months before I was conceived! Now that's family planning on behalf of both the earthly parents and the Holy Father!

I realized the mistake long ago but never had it corrected until my after my 44th birthday. I took my birth certificate to the Vital Staistics office, showed them the mistake and asked; was I born in "63" or "64"? They issued me another free of charge.

I guess my existence on this earth was urgent. It was as if the universe was saying; "You ain't gettin' outta this one! It's been signed and it's been sealed, you only need to deliver......AND YOU WILL DELIVER!!!"

Haha I love the idea that they were so sure they applied for the certificate 12 months before birth. That would be magical if it worked like that :)

I on the other hand, no matter how much protesting comes from my parents, was a mistake. I had the fortune of being born in South Africa whilst my parents were over there working. So stack up the following and tell me what you think:

My two sisters were born 2 years apart from each other.
I was born 6 years later....

My sisters names come from prominent figures within my families histories.
Mine was made up on the day they registered me....

I was born whilst they were on short term contracts abroad with no secure residence...

My mother had taken up her career again and was progressing well then suddenly had to end it to have me...

But year on year we have the smae family argument. Me insisting that I was a mistake, my sisters claiming that I'm not really even part of the family and was found under a truck in a lay-by and my parents furiously refuting all allegations that I was anything other than a perfect miracle that they planned from start to finish  ~D~

Go figure lol.

Well, I wasn't a mistake.  I was conceived exactly to the minute it would take to produce me after conception and that conception arose within minutes of my father entering his home after coming home from the Pacific Theater after WWII.  I was an, "I'm home", baby.  The beginning of the baby boomers.
