What's your song for today?
« on: February 12, 2009, 08:27:53 PM »
Music expresses every emotion known to mankind. My moods change from day to day so there is always a song which expresses how I feel on a particular day. My song for today is "Lonely Wind".

" When I'm needing a friend
  I'll remember the wind
and my life here with the
  breezes of sorrow.

I'll be leaving him soon
caus' I got to make room
for the lonely that will find
him tomorrow

On a dark stormy night
in my bosom I'll play
Then I'll know I found love
and the last song will say;

Cry for me, sigh for me
Sad my breezes blow
Stay for me, play for me
The song my friends will know
My lonely winds must blow."

Written and recorded by "Kansas".

What is your song for today? Everybody has a song in his heart.
As God as my witness, I cannot tell a lie.  ;)

Yes, good old "slow hand" as he is now known. Early E.C. in the band named Cream.

My song for today, Feb 14, 2009 is: "Owner of a lonely heart" by "YES", or it might be "Lunatic fringe" By Tom Cochrane. I'll have to see as the day progresses which one better to choose.

My inspiration for today, Feb 21, 09 can be found within the lyrics of the Boston classic "Don't Look Back". ***(:D)***

:)7 Hmmm, well, my first guess would be 'Steppenwolf', but with the lack of creativity in todays pop/rock culture who can only make techno versions of 60s and 70s classics.... ???

If you wish to stump me on anything classic rock ya gotta be more creative as Kansas is my second favorite band of all time. d(BD)b

I'm sitting here listening to my new Def Leppard album, a two disc collection of their greatest hits. My song for today is on this album. Can you guess which one it is? ::D  Need a hint?

It's from the pyromania album, side one.

Oh that's true, Kansas recorded it too. I was thinking of Todd Rundgren's take on it. The best of all time on that song.

To your question, I really have no idea even with a hint. I lose. Sorry never got into DL that much I guess.
