Improving the Way We Live - Global Warming..., but what else?
« on: December 11, 2009, 02:36:06 PM »
There has been a lot of talk about Global Warming - warmer temperatures, melting ice, high water levels, the destruction of coastal cities, and now ice burgs floating toward Australia causing shipping problems [article].  Mankind's heightened awareness of this global concern is only going to improve our ability to take care our planet and ourselves better.

I thought maybe we could broaden the discuss of what mankind could do to improve other aspects of our lives.

My suggestion is to eliminate Monosodium Glutamate from our diets.  The elimination of excitotoxins would invite the reduction of health ailments like obesity, migraine headaches, and long-term problems such as ALS, ADHD, and Diabetes... and other medical problems related to damage done to the hypothalamus.  MSG isn't only a money maker for the food industry or the diet industry, but also for the medical industry - prescription drugs, high medical bills, and psycho-therapy.

What would you suggest to improve society, environment, life?
