Products by Dr. Joel D. Wallach, Youngevity's founder
« on: October 26, 2013, 01:15:21 AM »
I did some research on an individual by the name Dr. Joel D. Wallach.  Dr. Wallach has a line of products available to help you (and your pet, AND your garden) be more healthy.  Throughout his website - http://www.majesticearth-minerals.com - there are products in pill form, liquid form, and powder form designed to provide supplement, nutrient, and - what I would describe as - warm fuzzy feelings of genuine psychological babble laced with spiritual enlightenment.

Basically, Doc's offerin' some flavored juju.  Want some?

~~~
I am including some ingredient lists of various products in picture form.  (See below.)  Some of these ingredients are excitotoxins.
These are examples of those ingredients which are excitotoxins:
Natural Flavors, Potassium Aspartate, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Grape Seed Extract, Maltodextrin, Xanthan Gum, CitriSweet® (which contains inulin, fructose, citric peel extract), Stevia, Natural Flavors Blend....
I figure there are more excitotoxic ingredients in these products, though I didn't look at every list of ingredients.  I do know, it didn't take much looking to find the hand full of excitotoxins I listed above.  For example, I didn't do any research on the products for gardens.  I figure it has Monsanto (or a subsidiary) written all over it, though.
If you do your own research, then hopefully you'll understand the dangers of the more heavily used flavor enhancers, a.k.a excitotoxins, and discover new ones which seem to be invented daily.
Product Analysis:
Nature's Whey... Slender Meal Replacement Shake...
For Weight Loss
DESCRIPTION... Whey is the purest, richest, most complete and bio-available protein source known to man. Slender Meal Replacement Shake contains pure whey protein, soy protein and various vitamins and minerals as co-factors.
Okay, let's stop right there.  "Purest, Richest, Most Complete" is fluff.  It's double-speak.  It's empty words.  "Pure" is another fluffy word.
Reality...  In order to produce "whey protein" or "soy protein", whey or soy is put through a process called hydrolysis.  This breaks the bound, the molecular structure of the plant, thus freeing glutamic acid.  Once this is done, the proteins are isolated and used in foods to chemically enhance the flavor without using Monosodium Glutamate.  (Note:  Since MSG has turned into a negative buzz word, the food and medical industry have found substitutes to use just as harmful or more so than MSG.)  In this new form, these chemically derived ingredients are more potent than MSG alone.  Because of their potency, when they are combined with other similar ingredients, the final product is so contaminated with free glutamic acid, it's like having an excitotoxin cocktail.
Product Analysis:
Kid's Toddy  (A picture of this product is provided below.)
DESCRIPTION...  Kid's Toddy provides your growing child with a full spectrum of nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids and phytonutrients. Specifically formulated for children ages 2-12. Kid's Toddy provides the essential nutrients to support their development.
...Farther down the description...
Certain vitamins and minerals are essential in a child's development. These nutrients include the vitamins A, C, D, E, and the B-Complex, as well as the minerals calcium, potassium, and zinc. Phytonutrients are the extracts from fruits and vegetables and additionally support a child's growing development.
Phytonutrients are fruit and vegetable extracts.  In order to create an extract, it has to by autolyzed.  Just another way to feed the public excitotoxins, and what better way than to start them early.
~~~

These products are just one example of the thousands of other companies/individuals out there trying to rake in the money.  If these and other products do cause problems, the medical industry will be more than happy to help alleviate your symptoms by prescribing medicines and treatments.

~~~
Question: Why not eliminate the cause?
Answer: Too costly.  It would slow commerce down to a trickle, at best.  As it stands right now, excitotoxins are a business.  Excitotoxins are adding fuel to the world's economy.  They are a quick buck... or rather a quick multimillion dollar industry which is going to be pursued by everyone who has an itchy palm. (An expression used for someone about to come into money - for those who don't know.)
~~~

Solution:  Keep avoid excitotoxins and keep familiarizing yourself with their new names.

~~~
Keep up the good fight!!!
Let me add, the question suggests there is a connect with the food industry and the medical industry.  They are in a symbiotic relationship for sure today, but they are not connected.  The food industry uses excitotoxins (flavor enhancers) to increase sales, reduce costs of production by regionalizing their production units and increasing shelf life by eliminating packaging tastes that creep into foods.  They do this without concern for individuals health.  The medical industry simply deals with symptoms.  If you go to the doctor with chronic migraine headaches, he orders tests, checks for allergies and sometimes finds some as in nuts, berries, dairy products and most recently gluten, and prescribes medicines that mask the symptoms of excitotoxin use.  What they don't do is tell their patients to quit eating food and using health and beauty products that have excitotoxins in them.  They don't do this out of enmity or greed, they do this out of ignorance.  They simply don't know.
And here is the kicker.  Anybody that has suffered with the symptoms of excitotoxin use and has managed to overcome them by simply changing their diet, knows more about excitotoxins and their affect on human physiology than most doctors and nutrionists.
When their at people like Wallach that is using his title to sell excitotoxins in the guise of a health food, the average person hasn't a chance without researching the subject themselves.  This reminds me of the old snake oil salesman and tonic salesman that were common iin the 1800's.  They sold products that they promised would cure just about every ailment you may have.  The current snake oil salesmen, like Wallach, are no different.
Beware, friends, for their is a whole bunch of evil among us on the internet.
Keep up the good fight,
Mick
Dr. Wallach is a national hero, who's work sits in the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C., as a national treasure. As it should because in addition to Veterinary Degree he also has a Pathology Degree, Agriculture Degree, and Naturopathic Doctor. His research consisted of over 20,000 autopsies on animal and humans, and he began to recognize a couple of things :)7.
Those are NSF certified products, and contain the purest non-gmo and organic vitamin mineral complexes, combined and ratioed with the insight of that published national treasure mentioned above. I believe heavy breathing may be an excitotoxin, if framed in a simple context.
Toxins and free radicals continuously bring us down while our bodies fight to keep us alive. If you live on the west coast you're being microwaved and I doubt your thyroid has enough iodine - if you touch a red plastic cup yesterday or leaded glassware this new years or xmas, you've been exposed to etc etc etc... So - we have put together a webinar video by our friend Dr. Peter Glidden, regarding WHAT preservatives and WHY when it comes to nutritional supplements - including humic shale processing.
After 4 years my family and mates only hangup is social stigmas involved with anything related to anything 'alternative' and it's funny how 'nutrition' (vitamins and minerals that is) is stripped from our food and replaced with synthetic vitamins, while real vitamins and minerals are now called 'alternative' and is also targeted or labeled as 'doesn't work' or 'ineffective'.
Most doctors have 1 semester class in nutrition only to be ordained Healer. The smart ones know they are only there to manage symptoms, and may or may not take a personal interest in your health. It's a sick joke however most Doctors do not see it... [welcome]
General Custer is considered a National Hero, for God's sake so that doesn't say an awful lot about "American Heroes".  These products contain excitotoxins such as hydrolyzed proteins, GMO's, maltodextrin (a fake sugar), Aspartame (causes brain lesions which can and do turn into brain tumors) and autolyzed proteins which are all another way of creating MSG.  That is monosodiumglutamate.  The number one cause of headaches, ADHD, obesity and research is showing that their is a connection to MSG and other excitotoxins to Alzheimers, Parkinson disease and MS.  We are going to leave this post on the forum but take the hyperlinks off.  We normally just delete any commercial posts that don't try to add to the forum but are simply marketing methods for products but your post is so ludicrous that we felt it was important to leave it on so others can see the debate between the commercial element driven by profit and the suffering element trying to eliminate the symptoms that they have.
